After the dark brooding mood of Trasbone Thang my second solo album Dust Shaker was all about licking my wounds, moving on and dusting myself down. Hardship and sadness was very real but in facing it and climbing out the other side I embraced a new hope and positivity. Recording Dust Shaker was my first encounter with producer Gavin Monaghan, we gelled right away and continued to collaborate on a number of occasions over the following years. This digital version and the CD are remastered in 2020 from the original 1995 release by Syke Lane Audio.
