1998, six years after Dan Donovan folded the the grebo, goth, rock outfit Tribe of Dan Dan got together with a couple of the original members to record this second ToD album The Bootus Red. With Matt Middleton on drums and Dan Harris on bass they headed off to The Magic Garden studio (home of Dan’s Dustshaker album) and teamed up with Gavin Monaghan to produce this raw, heavy weight garage album. Another Dan, Dan Doughty created some soundscapes on a couple of the tracks, adding some beats and loops that sat behind Dan’s spoken word.
