There are no words that can sum up or capture my experience of the Mojave.

There’s an other-worldly
presence that absorbed me, be it a sense of visitors from another part of the universe or the spirits of Native Americans that inhabited the high desert long before Europeans arrived. Or maybe it was just the vast open unique nature that permeates throughout the Joshua Tree region that captivated me.

The warm boho rock’n’roll community I met reflected a spirit of freethinking and creativity.

On returning back to Fenland England I contacted Steve Lopez in Arizona via social media. Steve then sent me a couple of Mojave Indian Ceremony Songs he’d recorded just for this track.

The soundscapes were taken from the sessions we recorded at Rancho de la Luna.
